His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, yesterday (Tuesday) presented Master’s degree to 33 officer cadets comprising the fifth batch of the National Defence College.

The graduation ceremony, held at the college’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, was also attended by Lt General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior. It began with the national anthem followed by recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.

Major General Staff Pilot Rashad Mohammad Salem Al Sa’adi, Commander of the college, gave a speech welcoming Shaikh Mohammad and thanking the UAE’s wise leadership under President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan for their unlimited support for the college.

He also expressed thanks and loyalty to Shaikh Khalifa for founding the college, an unparalleled learning edifice in the region. Al Sa’adi also thanked Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Shaikh Mohammad watched a short video highlighting training courses, theatrical and practical experiences and knowledge the graduates received during their study. He congratulated the graduated cadets who took commemorative pictures with him.
