UAE weather to remain pleasant, but colder

Al Ain: The weather will be pleasant on Thursday but partly cloudy to fair in general across the emirates, forecasters at the national weather bureau.

The conditions are likely to be cold at night along with the chance of mist and fog formation in internal and coastal areas. Thursday morning was also lightly misty at some places.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) warned people to refrain from going on a sea trip as the Gulf waters will continue to be stormy.

“Strong north-westerly winds will make the sea rough to very rough offshore
Thursday,” said the centre.

It will also be windy in some areas particularly in the interior open land areas where conditions can become dusty at time. The relative humidity is likely to increase during the night and early Friday morning, creating mist and fog in the coastal and internal areas.

The temperatures are expected to remain between 13 to 23 degree Celsius in the coastal areas, 12c to 26c in the internal, and 6c to 17c in the mountainous areas.
