Arte Souq stalls to open in Festival City

Dubai The handcrafted Arte souq will be held throughout July and August at Dubai Festival City for the first time this year.

Running every Friday from 12pm-9pm, it will be situated on the mezzanine level, near Ikea.

"This is to cater to the population of people who have decided to stay back for the summer," Miriam Walsh, co-founder of Arte said.

"We are offering them the opportunity to taste local crafts at our souk throughout the summer.

"One of our special Arte-sans, Laila Lambert, has booked for six markets to sell fairy bracelets for charity, and we have other artists devoting their sales to other local charities. We are even waiting for Feline Friends to join us with their second-hand book stalls," she said.
