Decree issued to restructure Emirates Identity Authority board

Hazza to be chairman and members will serve for a renewable term of three years

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan issued a federal decree restructuring the Board of Directors of the Emirates Identity Authority (EIA).

Under the decree, Shaikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, is the Chairman, while Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, is the deputy Chairman.

The board will serve for a renewable term of three years.

The board members include; Saqr Gobash Saeed Gobash, Minister of Labour, Ahmad Mohammad Ahmad Al Humairi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, Mohammad Ahmad Bin Abdul Aziz Al Shehi, Director-General of the Ministry of Economy, Lieutenant General Engineer Eisa Saif Al Mazroui of the UAE Armed Forces, Major General Ahmad Nasser Al Raisi of the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, Awad Hadher Bin Amer Al Muhairi of Dubai Police General Headquarters, and Dr Saeed Abdullah Al Gafli of the UAE State Security.

The decree will take effect from the date of its issuance, and is to be published in the official gazette.
