Event to celebrate UAE-Pakistan friendship

Dubai:  A number of prominent artists and fashion designers from the UAE and Pakistan will showcase their work at an event being organised in Dubai by the Pakistan International Council.

The exhibition "The Art of Friendship" is being promoted by Javed Malek, Pakistan's ambassador at large and will be held at the Atlantis Hotel on September 24 in Dubai.

He said that the event will pay tribute to the long- standing relationship between the two countries."The aim of the event is to further expand the goodwill and friendship between the people of both countries through art, culture, and fashion, in addition to encouraging the tradition of creative dialogue between artists, fashion designers and other talented individuals from Pakistan and the UAE," said Malek.

The art exhibition will feature noted Emirati artists like Hamdan Al Shamsi, Maitha Demitian, and Mattar Bin Lahej and Pakistani like Salman Farooqi, Rabia Dawood, Mehboob Ali, Akbar Ali, and Saqiba Haq.
