Manama: Saudi Arabia’s mobile operator Saudi Telecom Company (STC) today switched its network name to KSA UAE TOGETHER in support of the historic meeting of the Saudi-Emirati Coordination Council in Jeddah on Wednesday evening.

The debut meeting served to announce the Council’s organisational structure, which was formed to strengthen bilateral cooperation on issues of shared interest and to follow up the implementation of allocated projects and programmes.

The Council wants to showcase the vision of the two countries in the areas of economy, human development, political and military security integration and the well-being of their people.

This was not the first time that STC celebrated the togetherness between Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

On December 2, STC changed its network name to “KSA UAE TOGETHER” to celebrate the UAE National Day and to emphasise the close friendship between the two countries, leaders and people.

On September 20, UAE’s du and Etisalat changed their network names to “UAE KSA Together” to mark Saudi Arabia’s National Day.
