Manama: Saudi Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Talal has dismissed reports that his father, Talal Bin Abdul Aziz, was in hospital, saying they were a complete distortion of the truth.
“My father is in good health. All the reports about his health lack credibility. He went to the hospital to undergo physical check-ups and he left it — praise be to God. He is faring [well]. All other reports about his health are a distortion of the truth,” Prince Abdul Aziz posted on his Twitter account.
Prince Talal is the father of Al Waleed Bin Talal, the business tycoon who is being held by Saudi authorities investigating suspicions of financial irregularities that saw the arrest of several political and business figures in November.
