Manama: Qatar has cancelled the post of the Minister of State for International Co-operation in a limited cabinet reshuffle that included naming a new deputy premier.

The order issued by Shaikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, the crown prince, appoints Ahmad Bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Dr Khalid Bin Mohammad Al Attiyah Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and a Cabinet member.

Following the order, Qatar's prime minister has two deputies, namely Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Attiyah, the Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Emiri Court, and Al Mahmoud, Qatar News Agency (QNA) said on Tuesday.

Both Al Mahmoud and Al Attiyah took the oath in front of the Crown Prince.
