Manama: King Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa will deliver Bahrain's address at the United Nations general assembly.

The address will focus on regional and international developments, the peace process in the Middle East and the Palestinian issue. He will also highlight Bahrain's contributions to preserving world peace, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported on Monday.

King Hamad will also talk about developments in Bahrain, the modernization drive and the consolidation of the state of law and institutions, the official news agency said.

King Hamad has been ruler of Bahrain since March 1999 when he succeeded his father Shaikh Eisa Bin Salman Al Khalifa upon his death.
