Girl falls to death from 9th floor balcony in Sharjah

Sharjah: A 22-year-old Iraqi girl fell to death from the balcony of a building in Sharjah on Monday morning, a police official told Gulf News.

The accident happened in a building on King Abdul Aziz Road at around 7am.

The girl fell from the 9th floor balcony of her family apartment,” said a police official.

Police and paramedics were informed about the incident when the girl’s mother saw her lying motionless on the ground from her balcony.

The girl’s body was shifted to forensic laboratory. Police have launched an inquiry into the incident and questioned girl’s family members in this regard.
