Abyan: The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) on Wednesday began distributing iftar meals in Zinjibar, capital of the Yemeni Governorate, Abyan. The
meals are a donation from Shaikha Latifa Bint Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, wife of Shaikh Mohammad Bin Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah. ERC teams distributed the meals to locals in mosques in Amoudia, an area where a large portion of the population are displaced.
Local officials and beneficiaries expressed their thanks to the UAE’s leadership, government and people, as well as the ERC.
