Dubai: Bollywood celebrities Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are reuniting for their upcoming movie Bharat. And a glimpse of their characters was shared by Khan on his official Instagram account, @beingsalmankhan, earlier today, leaving his fans gushing for more.

In the image, both Khan and Kaif have their backs towards the camera, as they stand at the Wagah Border between India and Pakistan. However, according to a report published by The Indian Express, an India-based newspaper, the photo wasn’t taken at the real border.

The film’s team has recreated the border area in the Ballowal village in Ludhiana, Punjab. The report further states that this is because shooting isn’t allowed at the Wagah Border by the Border Security Force (BSF) due to security reasons.

In just five hours of the image being posted, it already had more than 910,000 likes and 6,800 comments. Fans already expect the movie to be a huge hit.

In May, Director Ali Abbas Zafar was scouting locations for the movie, when he had shared a picture of a sign board on Twitter, which read: “Islamabad 322, Lahore 24 and India Pak Border 2”.

In October, the entire crew, including Khan, was in the UAE, shooting some scenes of the movie in Abu Dhabi.

This will be the director’s third film with Khan, the first two being Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Bharat is expected to release on Eid 2019. The film is an official adaptation of 2014 South Korean film Ode to My Father.

In August, another still had been shared from the movie by Khan, again on Instagram, that showed him and Kaif at an undisclosed location, filming a song. That image got more than 1.6 million likes.
