If you're travelling soon, make sure these seven songs are on your playlist
There’s a BTS song for every mood, as any ARMY will tell you.
And if you’re travelling, a BTS playlist just makes those train rides, flight journeys or waiting at the airport, more bearable. So, you can watch scenery go by with Jin’s Heart on The Window or brood with RM’s Still Life, or maybe stroll European streets at night, with Jimin’s Like Crazy echoing in your ears. Yes, you may want to get lost in the lights. Or take a nap in the sun with V’s Layover album.
The struggle’s real, you probably want every BTS song on your playlist. But make room for these seven gems, too.
There’s a pulsing energy in Jin’s Running Wild. It’s infectious and hits you. And, it’s the best song to listen to, if you’re cycling down streets or just walking by yourself and buying a gelato. It’s oddly comforting too: A renewed promise of hope and adventure. You might be inspired to run on the beach, just like Jin does in the video. A word of caution, though on that one.
There’s something whimsical, and yet fun about Jin’s Heart on the Window. It’s for the romantic in you too; and it’s a good choice to listen to him and Wendy belting high notes, as you zip through traffic, or if you’re just in the subway.
Go vintage BTS. Feel the energy as RM kicks off the song, asking if it’s your first time to Bangtan. If you’re working out in your vacation, this is always a good pick: Just don’t try to do the dance moves while listening, because that intricate choreography can only be pulled off by BTS.
Ideal for that quiet countryside escape or dramatic rooftop moment. Butterfly and its prologue mix will have you reminiscing about every poor decision you ever made — in the most beautiful, tear-streaked way. Healing, emotional damage? BTS does both.
Still not over the HYYH era? Same. Run is the soundtrack for jogging through city streets or having an early-midlife crisis while sipping overpriced airport coffee. Layered vocals, unresolved emotions, sigh, what a perfect travel companion.
Channel your inner Jimin and add this to your travel playlist: RM’s introspective Wild Flower cuts deep, as he reflects on the weight of fame and life, and how he would just like to return to a field of wild flowers again.
Suga or rather his alter-ego’s Agust D’s Life Goes On, is oddly comforting and soothing, especially if you are spending some time alone during your vacation, watching cliffs, the sea, sunrise or sunset. Suga always has a way of comforting you when you need it the most: We recommend listening to People after it, too.
