No doubt about it, BTS doesn’t just pack a punch, they pack several. Tracks like Mic Drop, Silver Spoon, and Dope hit hard with fierce lyrics, addictive beats, and raw energy. But just as they can hype you up, BTS also knows how to heal you too, quietly. Take Spring Day, a soft, wistful ballad about longing and the ache of missing someone close to you. So, as you wind down tonight, whether you're dreading work tomorrow or lounging on holiday in Europe, here are five BTS songs to comfort, soothe, or maybe even spark a little introspection.

4’ O Clock—by RM and V

This is a deeply underrated song by the subunit that deserves more love. Beginning with V’s deep comforting and gentle vocals, the song is quiet and languid and as ARMY has duly notes, it might calm the noise in your mind, too. And there’s RM’s rap to wake you up and steady you too.

House of Cards

It’s always a good time to listen to House of Cards. The song describes the fragility of situations and relationships—that are just like house of cards. It takes effort, patience to build them—and sometimes they are always on the verge of collapse. Haunting and bittersweet, the song stays with you.

Pied Piper

A track that calls out fan obsession, this song stands out for its vocals, especially from Jin and V, who’ve made it iconic thanks to a now-viral clip of the two belting it out. It’s catchy, and quite the bop.

Astronaut

A solo from Jin, this track is full of love and softness. Apart from the rhythmic instrumentals, it’s Jin expressing his love for ARMY in each and every word of the song, and perhaps that's why fans can't move on, three years after its release. The lyrics are simple, but is filled with a distinct emotional high. Trust Jin, to take something usually cliche and cheesy and turn it into something soulful.

Inner Child

If you’re feeling low, V is here to help out with this touching, joyful song. It’s a letter to his younger self, as he looks back at the ‘endless light’ that he and his members kept chasing, before they became global superstars. V looks after his younger self with love and care in this song, letting him know what he missed.
