Dubai: The Abu Dhabi parking services company Q Mobility will build and operate an 84,000 square metre facility exclusively for trucks. This will be at ICAD 1 in Abu Dhabi's Kezad Musaffah economic zone.

The parking facility will enable 'efficient and uninterrupted' truck movement in the area.

Q Mobility will also manage on-street parking across ICAD I, II and III – Kezad Mussafah as well as Rahayel Automotive City. This will be to help maintain a smooth traffic flow within KEZAD’s industrial and commercial zones.

Q Mobility, a subsidiary of the investment group ADQ, manages and operates parking and toll solutions in Abu Dhabi.

The new deal will thus integrate parking spaces within Kezad into the wider Abu Dhabi environment.

"Q Mobility will provide advanced parking solutions to optimise traffic flow, decongest heavy and light vehicle traffic including options for large fleet owners in Kezad Musaffah," said a statement.

According to Abdullah Al Hameli, CEO, Economic Cities & Free Zones, AD Ports Group, “As Kezad continues to welcome world-class local and international businesses into its ecosystems, there is an impending need to streamline parking spaces to help cater to the growing traffic needs within our zones."
