Heavy fog disrupts flights at Dubai and Sharjah airports

Dubai: Sharjah Airport has urged passengers to closely monitor their flight schedules as adverse weather conditions continue to cause disruptions on Tuesday. In an advisory posted on X (formerly Twitter), the airport confirmed that a number of flights have been cancelled or delayed due to reduced visibility linked to heavy fog.

Also, multiple inbound and outbound flights at Dubai International Airport (DXB) are facing significant delays and rescheduling this morning, November 20, 2025, according to the DXB website. Airlines such as flydubai, Emirates, Indigo are among those impacted.

Travellers are seeing departure and arrival times pushed back and are strongly advised to check their flight status directly with their airline or on the DXB website before heading to the airport to mitigate potential travel setbacks.

Passengers are encouraged to check updates regularly and allow extra time for travel amid ongoing weather fluctuations.
