Dubai: Etihad Airways is adding three new cities to its growing international network, with upcoming flights to Kazan (Russia), Krakow (Poland), and Salalah (Oman), further strengthening connectivity between Abu Dhabi and key destinations across Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East.

The new seasonal services will launch in phases, with Kazan flights starting December 4, 2025, followed by Salalah on May 21, 2026, and Krakow from June 15, 2026. These routes are part of Etihad’s broader expansion strategy, as the airline aims to operate to over 90 destinations worldwide by the end of next year.

Traveller appeal for new destinations:

"These new destinations reflect Etihad’s commitment to broadening its reach and meeting growing demand for direct links between Abu Dhabi and under-served yet high-potential cities," the airline said in a statement. It also noted the opportunity to welcome more inbound tourism into the UAE capital.

The announcement follows Etihad’s inaugural launches this year to Prague, Warsaw, Sochi, and Atlanta, with 13 more destinations expected to be added before 2025 closes.

Passengers flying to Krakow, Salalah, or Kazan will also benefit from seamless connections via Zayed International Airport, along with Etihad’s award-winning onboard service and modern fleet.

This latest expansion marks another step in positioning Abu Dhabi as a premier global aviation hub, offering both leisure and business travellers an increasingly diverse choice of destinations.
