Dubai: In a shocking incident in Istanbul’s Bağcılar district, a man was arrested after allegedly stabbing a woman 15 times during a dispute, leaving her with severe injuries.

Local authorities said the attack triggered a furious response from residents, who attempted to take justice into their own hands. The suspect was reportedly beaten with punches and kicks as police struggled to control the scene, which was widely captured on mobile phones.

Police managed to intervene and apprehend the attacker despite resistance from the enraged crowd. He was taken away under police escort, while the injured woman received first aid before being rushed to hospital for further treatment.

The incident has since sparked outrage on social media, drawing attention to violent crimes and the rise of public vigilantism in Istanbul.
