Cairo: An Egyptian man had killed his wife allegedly because she was talkative, media reports said.

The woman, aged 65, was found dead in her house in Egypt’s southern governorate of Qena. Police investigations revealed that her husband, aged 70, had fatally stabbed her with a knife.

He reportedly was in a bad psychological condition when he killed her. The man admitted to the murder, accusing his wife of causing him depression with her too much talk.

The case was referred to prosecution
