Blast rocks West Beirut
Beirut: At least four people have been killed in a huge explosion in the western area of the Lebanese capital.
Anti-Syrian MP Walid Eido is believed to be among the dead, with reports that his son was also killed in the bomb.
Several others have been injured in the blast, which happened in the affluent seaside district of Manara.
The explosion is the sixth to rock Beirut and the surrounding area in the past month, and comes as Lebanese Army soldiers have battled Fatah Al Islam militants in the north of the country.
Two people have been killed in the previous blasts.
