Occupied Jerusalem: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Sunday received Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister.
The Palestinian president praised the great support given by the UAE's leadership, government and people to the rights of the Palestinian people.
They discussed the latest developments in the occupied territories and efforts aiming at resuming peace negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians, as well as ways to coordinate Arab efforts and unify their stances in preparation for the upcoming meeting of the Arab League's Peace Initiative Committee, due to be held in Cairo on May 1.
