Young Saudi standing on head on moving car 'reckless'

Manama: Saudi online users have criticised a young Saudi man who was standing on his head on the roof of a moving car.

No details were given about when or the name of the town where the short video clip was taken, but the users called for stringent action against people’s recklessness as the school year is over and young men have months of free time.

“This is utter nonsense and stupidity and such people should be punished for their reckless behaviour,” one blogger posted on Sabq news site on Saturday.

Abu Yara, another blogger, attributed the dangerous acrobatics to the “tremendous amount of idleness that people have in summer”.

“This man who was ostensibly showing off should be sent to prison for the summer where he will have time to ponder over his reckless behaviour,” another online user, Neutral, said.

Modern, a blogger, said that Islam was against putting people’s lives at risk and called for action against the young man.
