Abu Dhabi: Three Saudi men in their 30s were arrested after they allegedly robbed a number of Riyadh homes and shops, police said.

The suspects, who had criminal records, were allegedly involved in six house and shop robberies and stolen assets were estimated at SR550,000, said a Riyadh Police spokesperson Major Khaled Al Kreidis.

The police have recovered all the stolen goods and a car used in their crimes, police said.

The men were taken into custody pending moving to the Public Prosecution for further questioning and trial, police said.
