Saudi security man killed and one other injured in car crash
Their vehicle overturned when taking U-turn
Dubai: A Saudi security man died and one other injured when their vehicle overturned on Al Madheeq Road, east of Mecca, on Saturday evening, local media reported.
The security men were on duty when the accident happened.
The accident occurred when the vehicle overturned while taking a sharp U-turn. Traffic police patrols rushed to the scene immediately.
The wounded security man was transferred to the nearest hospital.
Meanwhile, Major General Abdullah Al Qurashi, Director of Civil Defence in Mecca, offered condolences to the family of sergeant Mohammed Al Thaqafi, who died while attempting to put out a fire that earlier erupted in a market in Jeddah.
He also conveyed condolences from Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Saud Bin Naif, Minister of Interior, to the martyr’s family.
