Saudi police rescue girl, 3, found hanging by neck at top of abandoned Medina hotel

Abu Dhabi: A three-year-old girl was rescued after she was found hanging from her neck from the top of an abandoned Medina hotel, a police official said.

“The girl was taken to the hospital to receive the necessary medical care, and her condition was stable. An investigation was launched into the incident and the girl’s Malian mother, who was found on the roof of the hotel, was arrested,” Lieutenant Colonel Hussain Al Qahtani, spokesperson of the Median Police, said.

The mother was moved to the Public Prosecution for further questioning and trial, police said.
