Dubai: A Saudi citizen has died and a policeman sustained minor injuries after both fell from the top of a building in Rafha city, north of the country, local media reported.
The policeman tried to prevent the other man from committing suicide and jumping from the top of a building.
However, the rescue attempt has failed after the citizen jumped to his death, causing the policeman to also fall from the same place.
Video of the incident has gone viral after it showed the victim falling to his death.
The incident took place last Saturday; at the time, police officers were called to help prevent a Saudi citizen in his 50s from committing suicide.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
