Saudi Arabia: Trucker to be prosecuted for driving against traffic

Abu Dhabi: A truck driver will be prosecuted for allegedly driving against traffic, police said on Twitter.

“After receiving a report on the incident, which went viral on social media, police will summon the driver to the police station to lodge a report,” Saudi Investigation and Enforcement Department said.

It added the case was being investigated under traffic rules for dangerous driving.

“This case will be referred to the public prosecutor as soon as possible,” police said.
