Al Hussain Al Hazami, a resident of the Saudi Governorate of Al Qunfudhah, told online newspaper Sabq that he initially thought that the bones belonged to dead animals, but later realised that they were actually of a human.

“I was surprised to find a very old tomb in a piece of land where cars move carelessly or unknowingly,” he said.
Al Hazami called on local authorities to take the necessary measures including enclosing the site to protect privacy of the deceased.
Authorities in Al Qunfudhah, part of the Mecca region, will send a committee to inspect the site for the reburial of the remains, spokesman for the municipality Saleh Al Zubaidi has said.
