Saudi Arabia: Man arrested for robbing bank customers in Riyadh

Suspect in his 30s found with SR187,000, remanded in custody

Abu Dhabi: A Chadian man was arrested after he allegedly robbed a number of bank customers in eastern Riyadh, police said.

“The line of business of the suspect, in his 30s, was surveillance of bank clients in the eastern neighborhoods of Riyadh and stealing their money,” Major Khaled Al Kreidis, spokesperson of Riyadh Police, said.

Police seized SR187,000 in his possession.

The suspect was remanded in custody pending moving to the public prosecution fo further questioning and trial.
