Dubai: Large parts of Saudi Arabia will continue to experience thunderstorms, strong winds, and heavy rainfall until Monday, the National Centre of Meteorology (NMC) warned, urging residents to stay informed about weather conditions.

The unstable weather is expected to bring downwinds, hailstorms, torrential rains, and high waves along the coastal areas, the NMC stated in its latest advisory.

Several regions, including Mecca, Al Baha, Asir, Riyadh, Hail, and Median, are forecast to receive light to moderate rainfall, while moderate showers are expected in the Northern Borders and Al Jouf.

Authorities have called on the public to stay updated through official weather reports and alerts issued on social media and the Anwaa application, emphasising the importance of caution as stormy conditions persist.
