Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) has launched a sweeping crackdown on corruption, arresting 131 individuals and investigating 370 others as part of its latest enforcement efforts.

In a statement released on Friday, the authority said it conducted 3,466 oversight visits across various government entities in February, uncovering cases of bribery, abuse of authority, and other violations. Some of those arrested were later released on bail.

The investigations involve employees from multiple ministries and government bodies, including the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defense, National Guard, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, as well as the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority and the Saudi Ports Authority.

Nazaha vowed to press forward with its anti-corruption drive, stressing that accountability remains a cornerstone of government integrity. The authority urged the public to report any suspected corruption through its official platforms.
