The company, founded in 2006 by the Saudi Public Investments Fund, plans two extra journeys on the eve of the National Day. One trip is scheduled for the evening of Tuesday September 22 starting from Riyadh via the cities of Al Qassim and Hail to the region of Al Jouf in northern Saudi Arabia.
Another journey will start later at night from Al Qassim station via Al Majmaah in central Saudi Arabia heading to Riyadh.

“Introducing the additional journeys has come in response to the SAR customers’ wish to move among the kingdom’s regions during the National Day holiday,” SAR general manager of marketing and communication Amar Al Nahdi said.
He added that ticket reservation and buying is available on the SAR website https://www.sar.com.sa or its applications on smart phones.
The Saudi National Day, celebrated annually on September 23, marks the foundation of Saudi Arabia by King Abdul Aziz Bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud.
