Dubai: The Saudi Ministry of Health has revealed that it is now conducting more than 65,000 coronavirus tests per day, up from 1,000 daily tested when the coronavirus broke out in the Kingdom, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA)

The ministry said it has equipped the national laboratory at the Saudi Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, the reference lab for cases tests, and the Ministry’s regional labs in various regions, with the latest technologies, to perform these checks.

This is also in addition to labs in hospitals and specialised units that the ministry recently launched in Kingdom, and contributed to a qualitative leap, improved service by obtaining test results in record time, and also strengthened the prevention of COVID-19.
