Dubai: Saudi Arabia reported 186 new COVID-19 infections and two deaths on Sunday, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 366,371 and fatality tally to 6,352.
According to the latest update by the Ministry of Health, an additional 211 patients have fully recovered over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of people recovered from the deadly virus to 357,939.
Dr. Mohammed Al Abdul Ali, the Health Ministry’s spokesperson said the active cases have now reached 2,080, out of which 331 are critical under intensive care.
The Ministry of Health has reported 558 new coronavirus cases and four death in the Sultanate.
This brings the total infections in Oman to 133,044, including1, 521 deaths. An additional 151 patients have fully recovered, pushing total recoveries to126,262, according to the ministry’s latest update.
The ministry urged everyone to adhere to precautionary measures and social distancing protocols issued by the Supreme Committee tasked with tackling COVID-19.
The Ministry of Health confirmed the detection of 384 new cases of Convid-19 infection in Kuwait during the latest 24 hours, pushing total infections to 161,285.
In its latest update, the ministry said that no more deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, leaving the country’s fatality tally at 952.
A further 507 fresh recoveries have also been recorded, increasing total recoveries to 154,253. The active cases have now reached 6,080, including 48 critical cases under intensive care.
The Ministry of Public Health today confirmed the detection of 247 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total infections in Qatar to 148,258.
No new fatalities were reported over the past 24 hours, keeping death toll at 248.
According to the ministry’s latest update, a further 118 patients have fully recovered, pushing the total number of people recovered from the virus across the country to 144,858.
Active cases have now touched 3,913, including 370 that are stable cases under treatment, while 36 cases are critical under intensive care.
An additional 246 new COVID-19 cases have been detected in Bahrain over the last 24 hours, bringing the total confirmed cases in the Kingdom to 99,456.
One more death was reported, taking the death tolll to 367, the Ministry of Health said in its latest update. The new cases have been detected among 130 expatriate workers, 107 new cases are contacts of active cases, and nine are travel related.
The ministry also announced 210 fresh recoveries, pushing total recoveries to 96,112. The active cases have now touched 2,977, including 2,959 that are stable, while 18 are critical cases under intensive care.
Meanwhile, 144,130 people have been so far vaccinated as part of the nationwide-vaccination drive.
