Kuwait

Kuwait on Monday reported 886 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 117,718, the Ministry of Health said.

The ministry also announced that four people have succumbed to the infection following complications caused by the virus, bringing the total number of fatalities to 714.

According to the ministry’s latest update, an additional 592 patients have made full recovery, pushing total recovered cases to 109,198. Meanwhile, there are 7,806 active cases, out of which 133 are still receiving treatment in intensive care units.

Oman

Oman today announced 439 new coronavirus cases and 8 deaths, bringing total infections in the Sultanate to 111,033 and fatalities to 1,122.

The country’s overall recoveries have so far touched 96,949 as a further 549 patients have fully recovered in the last 24 hours. The active cases stand at 12,962, including 207 that are critical.

Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is continuing to witness a sharp fall in its daily tally of coronavirus cases and deaths, with only 385 new cases and 16 fatalities reported on Tuesday. This pushed the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 342,968 and death toll to 5,217, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health.

According to the ministry, 375 new recoveries were reported over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of recoveries to 329,270, with the recovery rate touching 96 per cent.

With the continuous drop in new coronavirus infections, active cases have also fallen significantly to 8,481, out of which 840 are critical receiving treatment at ICUs .

Bahrain

Bahrain confirmed the detection of 322 new infections over the last 24 hours, raising the total coronavirus cases to 78,224.

The Ministry of Health announced that four people have died from the virus, raising fatality tally to 304.

The ministry confirmed additional 363 fresh recoveries, increasing overall recoveries to 74,683.

Qatar

The Ministry of Public Health announced that 273 people have tested positive for coronavirus cases during the past 24 hours, taking tally of infections to 129,944. No new deaths have been reported today, keeping fatality tally at 224.

According to Qatar’s latest update, 216 patients have fully recovered, pushing total recoveries to 126,866.

Active cases are now 2,854, out of which 379 are critical under intensive care.
