Abu Dhabi:The Saudi Food and Drug Authority carried out 2,731 inspection visits to the facilities under its control across the kingdom from November 8 to 19, and referred 14 businesses to the Ministry of Interior due to non-compliance with precautionary measures to prevent the outbreak of the coronavirus.
The authority said the businesses failed to take temperature of employees and customers upon entering the facilities, wear masks, and secure sterilizers in the places designated for them.
A factory and four warehouses in Jeddah were also referred to the Ministry of Interior last month for flouting the health protocols meant to stem the spread of COVID-19.
