Qatar reports 250 new infections

Dubai: Qatar reported 250 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, taking the total number of infections to 1,325, according to the Health Ministry.

The ministry also reported another 16 recoveries, pushing the tally of recovered patients to 109, adding that currently there are 1, 213 active covid-19 patients receiving treatment across the country’s hospitals.

The ministry said it has tested more than 31, 951 people so far and that only three death cases have been confirmed from the deadly virus.

“Some new cases are related to travelers who came to Qatar and others related to contacts,” QNA said in a tweet.
