The first international edition of the Qatar Motor Show will be held in Doha next year

Doha: The first international edition of the Qatar Motor Show, featuring concept cars, super cars and futuristic models will be held at the Doha Exhibition Centre in January next year, it was announced.
The Qatar Motor Show, which will provide a platform for the latest car models, commercial vehicles and sports utility vehicles being launched, will be held under the patronage of Shaikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and will be organised by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) in partnership with Q.media Events and GL Events.
"Qatar has made significant investments in sports infrastructure and has already made an impact on the motor sports scene with our nighttime Moto GrandPrix and championship rally team. QTA is excited to bring the Qatar Motor Show to Doha as another exciting addition to the events calendar for Qatar and for the region," said Ahmad Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Qatar Tourism Authority.
Highlights
The show will kick off with an international convention, featuring top figures in the automotive scene, leading discussions about current topics such as environmentally-friendly cars and future trends in the industry.
The exhibition will offer hands-on and interactive experience and will provide demonstration areas for off-roading, freestyle, motor cross and drifting courses as well as test driving sessions of the latest car and SUV models.
Viewers will also be able to enjoy professional driving tips with demos from leading experts.
