Dubai: Qatar today announced 268 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of people infected with COVID-19 to 116,031.

No new deaths have been reported during the past 24 hours, keeping the country’s fatality tally at 193, according to the latest coronavirus update by the Ministry of Public Health.

The country’s overall recovered cases climbed to 112,924 as 266 COVID-19 patients have made a full recovery. There are 3,107 active cases, including 425 critical and 64 serious cases under intensive care.

The ministry also said that 6,260 more people have been tested during the last 24 hours, pushing the total number of COVID-19 PCR tests conducted across the country rose to 572,273.
