Qaboos meets US commander general

Muscat: Sultan Qaboos met James N Mattis, Commander General of the US Central Command, on Tuesday at Bait Al Baraka.

They reviewed a number of aspects of the joint co-operation between the two countries.

Also present were Lt Gen Ahmad Bin Harith Al Nabhani, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF), Richard J Schmierer, US Ambassador to the Sultanate and the delegation accompanying the guest.
