Infections increase to 727; 15 patients recover
Dubai: Oman’s Ministry of Health (MOH) announced 128 newcoronavirus cases, bringing the total number of infections in the Sultanate to 727, including four deaths.
In a statement issued on Monday, the ministry affirmed that another 15 COVID-19 patients have made a full recovery, taking the total number of patients recovered to 124.
The ministry called upon members of the public to adhere to the isolation procedures by staying in an isolated room with an attached toilet and serving the isolated person from outside the room as instructed.
It also advised all citizens and residents to wash hands regularly with water and soap and avoid touching the face, nose, mouth, and eyes and follow the healthy habits when coughing and sneezing.
The Ministry urged everyone to adhere strictly to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH, as well as stay at home and not go out unless necessary.
