Muscat: The four-day Young Leaders Forum, which started on Wednesday, has brought together youth in the country.

"The Young Leaders Forum is aimed at bringing together 100 of the top young people from colleges and universities in Muscat, and 30 corporate guests at the College of Banking and Financial Studies," said Aisha Al Mahrami, Director of External Relations at AIESEC Oman.

She added that the conference will provide young leaders with training on skill building.

The Young Leaders Forum revolves around five themes: Global Mindset, Entrepreneurial Outlook, Emotional Intelligence, Proactive Learning and Social Responsibility.

"The attendees get to learn by choosing their session of interest," said Anjali Thakrar, President of AIESEC Oman, which organised the event.

The conference includes a Global Village on Thursday at Muscat City Centre Seeb. Thakrar said that more than 20 countries are participating in the Global Village.

The Global Village event at the City Centre aims to connect Omanis to countries all around the world.

Each participating country will portray their study and tourism opportunities, food, traditional dances, music and costumes.
