Muscat: The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in Muscat has announced the drive-through vaccination that was started last week in Oman Automobile Association premises will be open tomorrow for the vaccination campaign for those 45 years and above. The vaccination drive will start tomorrow at designated centres with the target group as mentioned.

The facility will be open from 4pm till 9pm. However, since the lockdown is resuming tomorrow from 8pm till 4am, this timing will have to be checked with the concerned authorities or await further clarification on the same.

In another development, the Omani Ministry of Health has also mandated that everyone above 45 years of age wishing to take the vaccination must register through the Tarassud app or through the Ministry of Health website.

But many users who tried to register through the link complained that it allows only Omanis to register. Within 24 hours of announcing the mandatory pre-registration for vaccine, close to 13,000 people had registered.
