Worker accused of killing his boss over non-payment of salary

Muscat: The Seeb Primary Court in Oman has postponed the case of a man accused of murdering his compatriot boss in a fit of rage to next month.

The pair were working in a carpentry shop in Seeb province, north of the capital, Muscat.

A quarrel is said to have taken place over the non-payment of two months’ salary. The Bangladeshi worker is said to have grabbed a blunt object from the carpentry shop and struck his boss on the head. This resulted in severe internal bleeding and fractures to the skull, he died instantly

The accused admitted that he was outraged and couldn’t control himself.

Last year, a Bangladeshi tailor murdered a national, his sponsor, using a pair of scissors, over a minor dispute in the Shinas area.
