COVID-19: Oman closes all commercial activities from March 4-20

Dubai: All commercial activities across all governorates in Oman will close from March 4 until March 20 from 8pm to 5am in the wake of rising coronavirus cases in the country, the Sultanate’s Supreme Committee tasked with tackling COVID-19 announced on Monday.

However, fuel stations, health institutions and private pharmacies will remain open.

The committee also approved a decision extending distance learning in public schools from Sunday March 7 to Thursday March 11, provided that during this period, this will be evaluated in accordance with the developments of the epidemiological situation in the Sultanate.
