Mohammad, Sabah discuss regional issues

Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, yesterday received at his residence in Al Diriyah Palace in Riyadh, Kuwaiti Emir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah.

They discussed the agenda of the 32nd GCC Summit prior to the summit's closing session that was held later in the evening.

Shaikh Mohammad and Shaikh Sabah expressed their confidence in the positive results that the Summit will yield for the people of GCC.

Shaikh Mohammad returned to the UAE after participating in the GCC Summit in Riyadh which concluded yesterday.

Senior officials

Upon his arrival at the Dubai International Airport, Shaikh Mohammad was welcomed by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

Also receiving him were Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, and Shaikh Majid Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, and a number of other Shaikhs and senior officials.

High-level delegation

Shaikh Mohammad led a high-level delegation that included Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates airline and Group, Dr Anwar Mohammad Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Ahmad Juma Al Za'abi, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Mohammad Saeed Mohammad Al Daheri, UAE Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, in addition to other officials.
