Cairo: An ostrich was filmed while strolling outside a school in Kuwait, local media reported.

Footage captured on a mobile phone was posted on social media showing the bird wandering outside Al Mansuriya Elementary School for Girls in Al Ahmadi governorate, reports said.

Competent authorities were notified, Al Anba newspaper said.

A zoo team was dispatched to the site and handled the ostrich, it added. It was not immediately clear how the large flightless bird had got there.
