Dubai: Kuwait’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) was able to close at least six cases related to the “masked man” theft in Soukh after arresting a Pakistani expat, Al Anbaa newspaper reported.

Three days ago in the market, KD3,600 were stolen from a cashier. The accused had entered Kuwait two years ago by sneaking into a truck and was staying in Fahaheel area.

The accused confessed to having committed many thefts and also admitted that he sends part of these funds through people to his family in Pakistan.

The description of accused wearing mask and gloves with big built was circulated in the soukh. He was nabbed after the mask he was using while carrying out the thefts was found in his room and upon interrogation he admitted to committing six robberies and also surprised the investigators by informing them he sneaked into Kuwait through a truck.
