Kuwait officer killed in accident

Manama: Kuwait’s army on Friday afternoon announced the death of an officer in an accident.

The accident occurred as a military vehicle was on duty, the general headquarters posted on its Twitter account.

First Warrant Officer Rakan Khalaf Hadlan was killed while another officer, Malhan Eid Nassar, was injured and transported to Al Jahra hospital, the army said.

An investigation was launched immediately after the accident, it added.
