Cairo: Kuwait today confirmed 345 further cases of the coronavirus over the past 24 hours, with a decrease of 340 cases against the number of infections reported the day before, pushing the country’s overall infections to 103,544.

Four more deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded, raising Kuwait’s fatality tally due to the disease to 601, the Health Ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad said in an update.

There are 109 patients receiving intensive care treatment, he added, according to the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA.

Kuwait’s total virus tests have reached 735,918 after 2,25 tests have been done over the past 24 hours.

The Health Ministry said that the overall recoveries in Kuwait have reached 94,929 after 718 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
